Hi VIVA, ha-ha...hey-hay... love your play on words. Here is how I did it....As I was driving south of Rochester NY I saw the sun setting on a farm. The hay was cut and bailed. The field was golde from the late afternoon sun. I stopped and walked onto the farm. I was thinking of the image from DaVinci's Vitruvian Man. So I shot some shadows with arms extended. In this photo I pulled my arms into my chest so the 35mm Nikon camera would not show. The magic was bing in the right place and imagining what could be done. Thanks for asking...any more questions? Thomas

About Thomas Carroll

Thomas Carroll

I am a dreamer of images and visions. As others have done and do, I want to create photographs that spark the imagination. I want the camera to see something truthful and timeless...to see the unseen. I follow light. I experiment. I try to construct and deconstruct time and see beyond the real. Sharing with you is important to me. This brings the image to life. If I were to write a simple treatise on art it would be like describing a Three Dimensional Mirror. I see the artist as one dimension reflecting truth on multiple levels. The physical experience in time and space mirrors the external, visible dimension. The third and deepest dimension reveals the subconscious inner space that flows from the imagination...reflecting the...
