Singularity is the predicted moment when human biology merges with artificial intelligence. Ray Kurzweil is a leading visionary, writer and proponent of Singularity. He believes it is the inevitable next step in human evolution. He predicts it will occur sometime between 2020 and 2030. The implications for humanity are enormous. This image is my playful imagining of the concept as I read in his book, Singularity Is Near.
I am a dreamer of images and visions. As others have done and do, I want to create photographs that spark the imagination. I want the camera to see something truthful and timeless...to see the unseen. I follow light. I experiment. I try to construct and deconstruct time and see beyond the real. Sharing with you is important to me. This brings the image to life. If I were to write a simple treatise on art it would be like describing a Three Dimensional Mirror. I see the artist as one dimension reflecting truth on multiple levels. The physical experience in time and space mirrors the external, visible dimension. The third and deepest dimension reveals the subconscious inner space that flows from the imagination...reflecting the...
