About Thomas Carroll

I am a dreamer of images and visions. As others have done and do, I want to create photographs that spark the imagination. I want the camera to see something truthful and timeless...to see the unseen. I follow light. I experiment. I try to construct and deconstruct time and see beyond the real. Sharing with you is important to me. This brings the image to life. If I were to write a simple treatise on art it would be like describing a Three Dimensional Mirror. I see the artist as one dimension reflecting truth on multiple levels. The physical experience in time and space mirrors the external, visible dimension. The third and deepest dimension reveals the subconscious inner space that flows from the imagination...reflecting the...
